Opening day and tapping ceremony
At noon the Lord Mayor taps the first keg in the Schottenhamel tent. Until then no beer is served anywhere on the grounds. The parade of the tent owners and breweries starts at 10:45 am in the city center.
Italian weekend
The Italian visitors' weekend. Expect many guests from northern Italy, full campsites and a lively atmosphere in the large tents.
